Why is this Championship the Official New Zealand Ballroom Dance Championships? - since 1965 the NZBDC has granted the Official New Zealand Championships to different Organisers. Over the years they have been held in June, July, August, October and November by different Organisers in different Cities throughout New Zealand. In all those years the only constant has been Councils approval of the New Zealand Titles.
(Solo) Registered & Unregistered - an unregistered dancer is a person who has not registered with Council as a Juvenile, Junior, Youth Adult or Masters dancer in 2020. If a dancer registers as a Pro/Am or Am/Am competitor only, they are still eligible to enter unregistered events.
Winners of the Professional Ballroom & Professional Latin - winners of these events will be eligible to represent New Zealand at the 2021 WDC World Championships.

Why it is important to enter by the closing date of entries
